Mammoth is 0-5 against Rosamond since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Mammoth Huskies will be playing at home against the Rosamond Roadrunners at 5:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Mammoth can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They secured a  33-29 W over Carlin. The  win was just what Mammoth needed coming off of a  72-18 defeat in their prior  game.
 Mammoth's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nicole Smyth, who  scored 13 points along with 8  steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Smyth has scored at least 25% of Mammoth's points. Another player making a difference was  Audrey Borunda, who  scored 8 points along with 12  rebounds.
 Rosamond has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  matches by 33  points or more this season. They blew past Delano, posting a  49-8 victory at home. The  victory was just what Rosamond needed coming off of a  49-18 defeat in their prior  matchup.
 Rosamond found their leader in underclassman  Ariel Cain, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 10  rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Cain has scored at least 25% of Rosamond's points.  Kiley Perez was another key contributor,  scoring 2 points along with 4  steals.
 The losses dropped Mammoth to 3-4 and Carlin to 2-4.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Mammoth  haven't given up the ball easily this season,  having  only  averaged 0  turnovers per game. However, it's not like Rosamond struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 0  per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.  Mammoth was taken down by Rosamond 52-19 when the teams last played  back in February. Thankfully for Mammoth,  Amber Jordan (who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
