Rothsay had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 38-22 win over Hillcrest Lutheran Academy. That result is just more of the same for Rothsay, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Rothsay a 1-0 record and starting Hillcrest Lutheran Academy off at 0-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Rothsay will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Hancock at 7:00 PM. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Brandon/Evansville next week at 7:00 PM.
