The Linsly Cadets's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fairland Dragons at 12:00 p.m. on December 21st. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Saturday, Linsly was fully in charge, breezing past Harrison Central 72-44 on the road. Given Linsly's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked second in West Virginia, while Harrison Central is ranked 102nd in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Fairland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Ironton 65-60.
Linsly's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.1 points per game. As for Fairland, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
