After two games on the road, Leadership is heading back home. They will take on Bay Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Leadership focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday.
Leadership stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard. They were the clear victor by a 38-13 margin over Coliseum College Prep Academy.
Leadership's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Tagaga led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Nayra Hinostroza, who scored six points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Bay Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Golden State Prep, falling 31-0.
Leadership's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Bay Tech, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
