The Owen J. Roberts Wildcats lost against the Perkiomen Valley Vikings back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Owen J. Roberts was outmatched by Perkiomen Valley at home and fell 60-24. Owen J. Roberts has not had much luck with Perkiomen Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Perkiomen Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Boettinger led the charge by scoring 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boettinger has scored at least 25% of Perkiomen Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Galbavy, who scored 12 points.
Owen J. Roberts' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Perkiomen Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owen J. Roberts will take on Great Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perkiomen Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pottsgrove at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Pottsgrove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 511th, while Perkiomen Valley is ranked 24th).
