Hesperia Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd (when they won 19-1). They blew past the Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs 13-3. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Chase Hampton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hesperia Christian is 6-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Hampton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Christopher Dekeyrel was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Clayton Lewis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs.

Hesperia Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory (which was Hesperia Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 9-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Hesperia Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-5 victory against Desert Christian on the 24th. Redlands Adventist Academy has also already played their next contest (against Mesa Grande Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
