After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millard North, Kearney was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Southeast Knights as they made off with a 16-6 win. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Lincoln Southeast, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Coming up, Kearney will face off against Lincoln Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silver Hawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will square off against Lincoln Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
