Tri-Metro - West recap September 24, 2013
Blake scaled the state rankings by moving to 143 from 174 this week, the biggest jump in Tri-Metro - West. The Bears were able to move up by beating Minnehaha Academy 22-7.
DeLaSalle added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Providence Academy, 60-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael O'Shea has thrown for 416 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Dalante Peyton has 19 catches for 199 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Blake takes on Breck. As it stands, John Coatta's team is in fourth, while the Mustangs are in third.
DeLaSalle led Tri-Metro - West in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on the Lions.
