The Gunderson Grizzlies will take on the Harker Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Gunderson will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against James Lick on Thursday. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 16-4 victory.

Brian Uribe was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. JD Murillo was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Gunderson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as James Lick only posted an OBP of .423.
Meanwhile, Harker waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 17-0 win.
Shaurya Jain made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Harker is undefeated when Jain allows one or fewer hits, but 6-8 otherwise. Jain was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other pitching news, Mason Brooks looked comfortable as he struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Austin Zhao was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Powell, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Harker pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Gunderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Gunderson suffered a grim 12-1 defeat to Harker in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Grizzlies have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
