The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Swett in their matchups with Salesian College Preparatory: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Madalyn Kanazawa, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and five steals for Salesian College Preparatory. Another player making a difference was Ayla Rege, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Swett's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 12-7. As for Salesian College Preparatory, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swett will face off against Saint Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
