Bowdon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Vincent, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Bowdon put the hurt on Vincent with a sharp 8-1 win on Friday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Bowdon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Vincent, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowdon will head out to square off against Model at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Model will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Bowdon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vincent, they will venture away from home to take on Jacksonville at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
