Wabasso had a rough outing against Murray County Central last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Wabasso were able to grind out a solid victory over Adrian on Wednesday, winning 25-13. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Wabasso as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
The win bumped Wabasso's record up to 2-6. Adrian are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. On Tuesday Wabasso will take on New Ulm Cathedral at 8:00 PM. Those two teams worked hard to overcome the odds in their previous battles and are not about to give an easy one away. Adrian will be staying on the road, facing off against Murray County Central. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win.
