The Windber Ramblers lost against the Bishop McCort Crushers back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Windber received a tough blow as they fell 65-49 to Bishop McCort.
Several Ramblers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Angel James, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Andrews, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Windber's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bishop McCort, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windber will face off against Berlin Brothersvalley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop McCort's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bellefonte at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th.
