While losing is never fun, Lower Moreland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Central Bucks East is ranked 20th).
Lower Moreland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dani Brusha, who scored seven points along with two steals. Brusha is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mollie Martin, who scored 11 points.
Lower Moreland's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Central Bucks East, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Lower Moreland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Bucks East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-34 defeat vs. Upper Dublin on the 10th.
