Evergreen Park is 2-8 against Reavis since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Mustangs will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Evergreen Park 4, Reavis 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Reavis will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Evergreen Park extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Mustangs never let Bremen get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

Connor Faulkner tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Christian Jacobo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Yarim Garcia was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Reavis and Oak Lawn, and Oak Lawn kept the tradition alive. The Rams fell 10-7 to the Spartans on Sunday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this game were averaging 4.08 runs allowed.
Reavis also got a good showing from Juan Avila, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Avila has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Parker Zasada was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Perez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Evergreen Park's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Reavis, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.
Reavis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Evergreen Park hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. It's a different story for Reavis, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Evergreen Park's hitters?
Evergreen Park couldn't quite get it done against Reavis in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 6-2. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
