Baseball Recap: Hanford's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Hanford dropped their record down to 13-13 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Mission Oak Hawks by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-5 defeat back in April.

Hanford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Ivie, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As for Mission Oak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.

On Mission Oak's side, Gage Hastin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Hastin has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
