Gregori came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Downey Knights. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Downey with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alison Hou (2), Grace Rodriguez (2), Juliet Lopez (2), and Kylie Farmer.

Gregori's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Downey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gregori take on the Modesto at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Downey, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Turlock at 6:00 p.m.
