The Howe Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 69-21 loss at the hands of Lone Oak. Howe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lone Oak apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Austin Jackson got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Jackson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Slayde Parnell was another key contributor, throwing for 318 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.
Howe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lone Oak, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
Howe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lone Oak also has no future games currently scheduled.
