After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colony, the Ontario Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Nogales by a score of 53-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ontario also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Hailey McDow, who scored 23 points. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Albany Ramirez , who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.
Ontario is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Nogales, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on Alta Loma at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nogales, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Baldwin Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Baldwin Park comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
