North will challenge Irondale on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
North couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against St. Thomas Academy last Thursday, falling 7-50.
Meanwhile, Irondale might have drawn first blood against Spring Lake Park, but it was Spring Lake Park who got the last laugh. Irondale might be aching after a bruising 13-35 defeat to Spring Lake Park. Irondale were down by 6-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
