Despite the loss, Goldsboro saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Callaway Sauls had 11 digs. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Sauls.
Addison Taylor had an outrageously good game for Princeton as she had three digs, two aces, and one block. Taylor has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 29 times she's played.
Goldsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
