Lakeview came out on top against Tekamah-Herman on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Tigers. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Genesis Enriquez was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Finecy, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Lakeview has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 defeat against Twin River on the 13th. As for Tekamah-Herman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Adams Central on the 13th.
