The Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 32-16 bruising from Varsity Opponent on Monday.
Dami Adedipe and Jaziah Victor certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Adedipe scored 8 points, while Victor scored 6 points.
The Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Varsity Opponent, their win bumped their record up to 27-117-1.
The Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Renaissance Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Covenant School of Jacksonville's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Varsity Opponent's offense will have their work cut out for Varsity Opponent.
