After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Drumright, Shidler was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Woodland Cougars with a sharp 10-3 win. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Emily Cottle made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Cottle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.
