On the hitting side, Midtown got a massive performance out of Annie Evens, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Evens has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Anderson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Midtown's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Forest Park, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7.
