The softball season is moving right along in Texas with some gaudy numbers being put up by pitchers. MaxPreps takes a look at the top hurlers in wins, earned run average and strikeouts.

Wins
Hannah Mayo, Sr., Carroll (Corpus Christi), 22
Mayo came into the season with one varsity victory and has compiled a record of 22-2 this year. She was won her last 16 decisions and has surrendered just eight earned runs during that time frame.

Vanessa Espitia, Jr., MacArthur (Houston), 21
Espitia is 21-1 on the season and had her lone hiccup on March 13, giving up seven earned runs. Her team is averaging 12.95 runs per game in her 21 wins.

Casey Dixon, Sr., Willis, 21
Dixon is sporting a 21-2 record with her only two losses by one and two runs, respectively. She has a state-high five no-hitters, including in four straight games.

Lexi Hutchins, So., Joaquin, 21
Hutchins started the season 4-5, but she's rattled off 17 wins in her last 19 decisions. During her recent success, she's allowed just 11 runs in 20 appearances. She also has three no-hitters.

Mackenzie Downs, So., Bonham, 20
Downs is 20-6 in 27 games this year. After losing three games in a row, she has won the last four games, allowing six earned runs.

Lyndie Swanson, So., St. John XXIII (Katy), 0.23
Swanson has pitched in 12 games and has completed every one. She has recorded nine shutouts, giving up just two earned runs all season. Swanson also has 115 strikeouts.

Casey Dixon, Sr., Willis, 0.40
Dixon has allowed just seven earned runs in 123 innings this season. She has also surrendered just 40 hits in the 452 batters she's faced.

Cassie Homniok, Fr., Sweeny, 0.43
Just a freshman, Homniok has been impressive early. She has appeared in 17 games with four runners coming across to score. Teams are hitting .341 against her, but most baserunners are getting stranded.

Tristan Bridges, Jr., Krum, 0.46
Bridges has been in control all season, allowing eight runs in 122 innings of work. She has 190 strikeouts and just 19 walks.

Kassidy Wilbur, Jr., Bridge City, 0.51
All five of Wilbur's runs this season have been spread out in five games – and she still has two losses. She's had just 25 hits against her in 68 innings. Strikeouts
Logan Hulon, So., Marble Falls, 268
Hulon has fanned 268 of the 611 hitters she's faced this season. She has double-digit strikeouts in 16 of the 23 games she's pitching, including a 19-strikeout performance in a loss.

Madalyn Alexander, Jr., Pine Tree (Longview), 252
Alexander has been a strikeout machine with 252 in 129 innings. In seven games this season, she has recorded 14 or more strikeouts.

Mya Stevenson, Jr., Poteet (Mesquite), 250
In just 120.1 innings of work, Stevenson has struck out a remarkable 250 hitters. She has double-digit strikeouts in 16 of her last 17 games.

Hannah Mayo, Sr., Carroll (Corpus Christi), 248
To go along with leading the state in victories, Mayo is one of the strikeout pitchers. She is averaging 8.86 strikeouts per game this season.

Casey Dixon, Sr., Willis, 230
Dixon has 230 strikeouts in 123 innings. She had a season-high 16 in a game on Feb. 28.
