The Fort LeBoeuf Bison were the 43-38 winner over the Cochranton Cardinals when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Fort LeBoeuf fell just short of Cochranton by a score of 50-47.
Cochranton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eve Pfeiffer out in front who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Shelby McBryar, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fort LeBoeuf's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cochranton, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort LeBoeuf will take on Maplewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cochranton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North East at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
