Rancho Mirage suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-25 loss at the hands of La Quinta. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Rancho Mirage has suffered against La Quinta since May 3, 2021.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Shadow Hills' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-45 walloping at the hands of Los Osos.
Rancho Mirage's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.1 points per game. As for Shadow Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.
Rancho Mirage took a serious blow against Shadow Hills in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 72-7. Can Rancho Mirage avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
