West Ranch won against Golden Valley  last Tuesday with six  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The West Ranch Wildcats walked away with  a   6-3  win over the Golden Valley Grizzlies. That's more bragging rights for West Ranch, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 In other pitching news,  Hunter Manning tossed a big game,   striking out eight batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk).
 Back at the plate,  Nolan Stoll was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for West Ranch and  bumps their season record up to 18-8-1. As for Golden Valley, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost eight of their last nine matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16-1 record  this season.
 West Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden Valley, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Oxnard at 12:00  p.m. Golden Valley is facing Oxnard at the right time seeing as Oxnard is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
