They had to suffer through a rough 62-32 loss at the hands of Southern Huntingdon County. Tussey Mountain was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.
Tussey Mountain's loss came despite strong showings from Marlee Hall and Cara Benton. Hall scored 11 points, while Benton scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Tussey Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Southern Huntingdon County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tussey Mountain will square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northern Bedford County and the Titans are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Southern Huntingdon County, they will head out on the road to challenge the at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fannett Metal is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
