The DuBois Beavers were the 45-28 winner over the Central Mountain Wildcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. DuBois was beaten by Central Mountain 66-32 on Tuesday. DuBois has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Taylor Doyle was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 20 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Weaver, who scored 11 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
DuBois' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Mountain, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
DuBois will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Karns City at 6:00 p.m. As for Central Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Penns Manor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
