It was a good run, but the Grand Terrace Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fontana. Grand Terrace was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Steelers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mikhia Anderson, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Anderson hasn't dropped below two steals for 23 straight games. Jayleen Barajas was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Grand Terrace's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-8. As for Fontana, they pushed their record up to 22-6 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home.
Grand Terrace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fontana also has no future games currently scheduled.
