Cactus had won three straight road games dating back to last season and Robert Bell did his part to make it four on Friday. The Cobras strolled past the Sunnyslope Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 52-35 with plenty of help from Bell, who picked up 145 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 94 yards.
Cactus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Isaiah Moncivaiz and Isaiah Johns. Jayden Campos was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending one pass.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Cactus' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sunnyslope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
