While Agnes Irwin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 56-13 stomp they got against the Norristown Eagles. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

Agnes Irwin's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Simone Harvey, who posted 15 points and four steals. Gabrielle Seibert was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Agnes Irwin's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Norristown, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Agnes Irwin will challenge Life Center Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Norristown, they will take on Pope John Paul II at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pope John Paul II will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Norristown surely won't give up without a fight.
