Augusta E never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Anderson C Cavaliers as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Nathanael Reese was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Poteet, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Augusta E always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in five consecutive games.

Augusta E pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Anderson C, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Augusta E will have a chance to go back-to-back against Anderson C: the pair will be back at it again later today.
