Another player making a difference was Reagan Wentzel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Susquenita on the road against Line Mountain on Tuesday as the squad secured a 53-23 win. 53 seems to be a good number for Susquenita as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Susquenita's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayahna Fleisher, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Fleisher hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Braelyn Prinz was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Upper Dauphin Area pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Susquenita, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Upper Dauphin Area have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Susquenita struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Upper Dauphin Area came up short against Susquenita when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 34-27. Can Upper Dauphin Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
