Clay City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Megan Jackson, who scored 4 points, and Kailyn Kirkling who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Clay City, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Linton-Stockton against Clay City in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 55-20 victory.
