Softball Recap: Brookwood Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Brookwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Parkview Panthers as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brookwood's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Parkview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookwood will challenge Archer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Parkview, they will square off against Duluth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
