The dominant performance also gave  Watkins a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Alivia Cade was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with five  stolen bases, four  runs,  and one  triple.
 Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Forest Park, they moved to 8-9 with that  victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
