The Trinity Prep Crusaders lost against the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Trinity Prep lost to Rio Lindo Adventist on the road by a decisive 41-22 margin.
Chitalu Munanga had an outrageously good game for Rio Lindo Adventist as she almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Munanga has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Kaia Miller was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Trinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they will square off against Summerfield Waldorf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rio Lindo Adventist will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Summerfield Waldorf surely won't give up without a fight.
