In what's become a running theme this season, the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Elk Grove 77-31 on the road. With Cosumnes Oaks ahead 48-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Caitlin Subejano was her usual excellent self, going 8 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Tan, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Cosumnes Oaks has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Elk Grove, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cosumnes Oaks on the road again on Friday and play against Sheldon at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Elk Grove, they will square off against Sacramento Adventist at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sacramento Adventist's defense has only allowed 25.5 points per game this season, so Elk Grove's offense will have their work cut out for them.
