The Hanford Bullpups came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Mission Oak by a score of 61-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hanford also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Kenyah Stubbs was her usual excellent self, scoring 42 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That makes it 19 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hanford's points. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Lockett, who scored nine points along with 15 rebounds and four blocks.
The win got Hanford back to even at 10-10. As for Mission Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanford will take on Lemoore at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lemoore is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Mission Oak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dinuba at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Dinuba will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while Mission Oak is ranked 252nd).
