Crossroads has gone a perfect 6-0 against Rolling Hills Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Roadrunners will square off against the Huskies at 3:15 p.m. Crossroads is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
On Thursday, Crossroads made easy work of Viewpoint and carried off an 11-2 victory. Considering the Roadrunners have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Miles Zoog and Leo Le Blanc were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Zoog pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Le Blanc tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Zoog went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Le Blanc went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Le Blanc a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alfred Bloomingdale, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Jake McCaffrey was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Rolling Hills Prep sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over University on Saturday.
Like Crossroads, Rolling Hills Prep also got a great game from a two-way player: Max Sarner. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Sarner was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Rolling Hills Prep is 7-1 when Sarner posts two or more runs, but 5-6-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, Samuel Lopez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Crossroads pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Rolling Hills Prep, their record now sits at 12-7-1.
Everything went Crossroads' way against Rolling Hills Prep in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Crossroads made off with an 11-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roadrunners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
