Kimberton Waldorf can attribute much of their success to Camron Nixon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Ciara O'Hara, who scored 24 points along with six steals. Nixon has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kira Sorzano, who scored five points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Valley Forge Baptist Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 40-28 to Calvary Christian Academy back in December of 2023.
