Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Maricopa, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 76-2 loss at the hands of Coastal Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Maricopa has scored all season.
Highland has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Maricopa, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
