It was a good run, but the Cincinnati Christian Cougars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 74-28 loss at the hands of Mt. Healthy. Cincinnati Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Serena Cyprien, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Cyprien is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addyson Raby, who scored three points along with three steals.
Cincinnati Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Mt. Healthy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian will take on the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. Healthy, they will head out on the road to face off against the at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
