Waldron took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Horatio Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Horatio's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Waldron is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horatio, they will face off against Columbia Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
