Basketball Recap: Covenant Classical Falls Despite Big Games from Miles Miller and Ian Lejeune

Covenant Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 72-51 to the North Hills Christian Eagles. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January.

Ian LeJeune and Miles Miller certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. LeJeune posted 15 points and three steals, while Miller put up 11 points and four steals. Miller continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Aidan Bridenstine was another key player, putting up six points.

Covenant Classical's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Hills Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Covenant Classical didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-8 victory against Calvary Christian Academy on the 17th. As for North Hills Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 77-64 defeat against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy on the 18th.
