Beau Chaney tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
At the plate, Badin got a big performance out of Chandler Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Vince Laugle, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Chaminade Julienne Catholic is 7-1 when Sullivan allows two or fewer earned runs, but 7-13 otherwise. Sullivan was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
