Locust Grove has gone a perfect 10-0 against Stockbridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:55 p.m.

Meanwhile, Stockbridge gave up the first runs last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Hampton 5-4. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Alijah Blount and Dereck Foster made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Blount pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Foster pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Stockbridge is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-10 otherwise. At the plate, Blount went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI, while Foster scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three hits gave Blount a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Sam Waters looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Stockbridge is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 8-9 otherwise.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Jeremiah McGeachy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Casey McBride was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Stockbridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
